Britain fires with both barrels: emergency rate cut and budget boost

 
Interest rate is one of the main drivers of UK economy. The Bank of England slashed interest rates by half a percentage point which returns the main interest rate to a record low of 0.25%. These should boost UK’s Economic output economic output by 1%.
