Mr. Olalekan Belo is a Chartered Stockbroker, Seasoned Banker with a wealth of experience in the Financial Markets. He has over 40 years of experience in the Financial industry. His professional career in Nigeria’s banking sector spans about 20 decades during which he worked at United Bank for Africa Plc. (UBA), Nigerian American Merchant Bank as well as Fidelity Bank Plc. His many areas of expertise include securities trading, trade finance, treasury operations, management information systems, loan administration, and policy formulation.

Known for his expertise in the industry, he was appointed Commissioner for Finance, Ogun State between 2003 and 2007. He also served as the Chairman of the Ogun State Economic Advisory Committee between 2007 and 2011.

Mr. Belo has a Master of Science in Banking and Finance from the University of Ibadan, a Master of Science in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Lagos. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), and the Institute of Directors.

Mr. Jide Ogundare is the founder and managing director of MBO Capital Management Limited (MCM), a private equity firm that invests in small to medium-sized companies in Nigeria and the rest of Anglophone West Africa.

In addition to leading the executive team at MCM, he serves as a director of AfyaCare Nigeria Ltd - a company that invests in healthcare assets, Retail Supermarkets Nigeria Limited (operator of Shoprite stores in Nigeria), and FCSL Asset Management Limited. All three companies are portfolio companies of MCM.

Prior to founding MBO Capital in 2012, Jide was an Executive Director and Head of, Retail Banking Division of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc (GTBank), a leading African Bank with Nigerian roots where he worked for 21 years.

His areas of expertise include corporate governance, transaction structuring, policy & procedure development, client & investor relations, and performance improvement. Jide also serves as chairman of the Boards of Eko Development Company Ltd, The Payment Services Company Ltd, Primera Microfinance Bank Ltd, and Fountain Holdings Ltd, as well as a member of the Board of Nosak Farm Produce Ltd. He previously served on the Boards of GTBank Plc. and GTBank Sierra Leone Ltd.

He holds an MBA from Cardiff Business School and a first degree in Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Jide was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987.

Tosin is the founder and CEO of AfyA Care, an integrated healthcare company seeking to make good healthcare affordable and accessible within Sub-Saharan Africa. He is the Chairman (Independent) of Evercare Hospital Lekki, which is the first scaled private tertiary healthcare facility built in Nigeria in decades.

Between 2004 and 2019, Tosin led the development of one of Nigeria’s largest non-bank financial services groups (previously known as Guaranty Trust Assurance/Mansard) operating in Health, P&C, Life Insurance and Asset Management. Prior to his spell with GT Assurance/AXA Mansard, he led the Energy Group of Guaranty Trust Bank after serving as the Treasurer of the bank.

Tosin has an M.Sc. in Financial Economics from University of London and completed his Advanced Management Programme in Harvard Business School in 2009.

Adekunle oversees MBO Capital’s investment division. He has over 15 years experience in investment banking, consulting, telecommunications, operations management, and private equity.

Prior to joining MBO Capital Management Limited, Adekunle worked at PwC Nigeria as a Corporate Finance Manager, where he provided sell-side and buy-side financial advisory. Adekunle previously worked for Access Bank plc, initially as head of private equity in its asset management subsidiary and then as a team lead in the financial markets division. He has also worked in New York at Lehman Brothers as an investment-banking Associate and in London at DHL, a global logistics company. He started his career at Analysys, a UK-based telecommunications consultancy as a research analyst.

Adekunle holds an MBA in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University) and an MA/MEng in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cambridge.

Seyi Wright is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wright & Co Ltd, an affiliate of Leadership & Vision Ltd, a foremost leadership development consulting firm. He has conducted over 500 capacity-building programmes and several strategy sessions for companies in various sectors of the economy. He has trained over forty-five thousand (45,000) corporate executives.

Emmanuel is the founder of Ashbard Energy Company Limited, a company that provides oil and gas services to Multinational Oil Companies. He also serves on the Board of Sumeru Nigeria and FCSL Asset Management Company where he provides strategic guidance.

He formerly sat on the Boards of Access Bank Plc, Finance and Commercial Services Ltd and Green Technology Ltd. Emmanuel was previously the Deputy Managing Director of Total (E&P) and Executive Chairman of the company’s pension fund.

He has accumulated expertise in Asset Management, Corporate Governance, Human Resources, Risk Management, and Oil & Gas over his 40+ years of experience.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Lagos and was called to the Bar in 1976. He is an IDP Alumni of INSEAD and has attended management and strategy programs in leading business schools including Harvard, Colombia, and London.

Mrs Temitope Omojokun is an innovative executive with over 20 years experience in the financial services industry. Having worked in places like Access bank, Asset and Resources Management Company (ARM), Investment One Financial Services Ltd, FSDH Asset Management Company. She is skilled in business development, client retention and market expansion. Tope Omojokun is also a past President of Fund Managers Association of Nigeria.
